We spent the afternoon at the Lake Superior Zoo with our friends Lisa and Freyja. It was our first visit to this zoo, and we had a lot of fun. Carson is almost the size of a chimpanzee!
This giant bear was a sight to see! It's a little unnerving to see your child inches away from such a beastly creature...but he was very intriguing
A zoo worker took a guinea pig out of it's cage, and Carson got big smiles after he pet it.
This snake was new to the zoo, and he spent quite a bit of time watching it with caution.

Towards the end of our visit, just passed the kangaroos, there was a retaining wall that he was climbing and it made for a great photo opportunity. I love this smile!
We will definately be making another trip back to the zoo soon!
